Our Mission

Provide humanitarian (and sustainable) period packs to women and girls in need throughout the world.

About Us

Period products are a fundamental human right.

Fihri is dedicated to providing sustainable period packs to women and girls in need, whether they are refugees fleeing from war, individuals who have lost their homes in natural disasters, or students who are unable to attend school due to lack of access.

We also strongly believe in our responsibility towards menstruators and the planet. That's why we carefully curate period products that are sustainable. From biodegradable pads, 100% organic cotton tampons, period underwear and menstrual cups and more.

Join the Fihri community to help the 500 million women and girls who don’t have access to period products each month.

“I launched Fihri for my daughter, her peers and the planet. “

Founder of Fihri, Ceylan

Over the past two decades, my focus has been on breaking down barriers for women and girls, both locally and globally, within both the private and public sectors.

During my time as a Commissioner for the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women in Massachusetts, I had a profound experience. I listened to 8th graders teaching 6th graders how to use toilet paper as makeshift period pads. This made me question why period poverty still exists?

Being a child of Turkish immigrants, I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants. During my time there, I had the privilege of witnessing the unwavering determination and remarkable resilience of our new neighbors and friends. Their stories and experiences have left a lasting impact on me, further fueling my commitment to support and uplift those who are starting anew in a foreign land.

I founded Fihri with the aim of assisting the 500 million women and girls worldwide who lack access to essential period products, a fundamental basic human right.

Join the Fihri community to help those in need.
