As a Marketing Director Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact by managing our social media content, newsletter, and website.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase Fihri's online presence and engagement across various platforms.
2. Create and curate engaging content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content, aligned with Fihri's mission and values.
3. Manage Fihri's newsletter, including content creation, design, and distribution, to keep our supporters informed about our latest initiatives, events, and success stories.
4. Oversee the maintenance and optimization of Fihri's website, ensuring that it accurately reflects our mission, programs, and impact.
5. Monitor and analyze social media metrics and website analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing, email marketing, and website management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Familiarity with Sqaurespace
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Description:
Fihri is searching for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Period Palooza Ambassador Volunteers. As a Period Palooza Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating Period Palooza events, which aim to raise awareness about menstrual health and provide sustainable period solutions to communities.
Responsibilities:
1. Host Period Palooza events in collaboration with schools, non-profits, and businesses, serving as the main point of contact for event coordination and communication.
2. Coordinate with school groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses interested in hosting a Period Palooza event, providing guidance and support throughout the planning process.
3. Work closely with the Fihri team to develop event agendas, activities, and promotional materials for Period Palooza events.
4. Assist in recruiting volunteers and vendors to participate in Period Palooza events, ensuring a diverse range of resources and activities are available to attendees.
5. Communicate regularly with event partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination leading up to the event day.
6. Provide on-site support and assistance during Period Palooza events, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and attendees have a positive experience.
7. Collect feedback and evaluations from event participants to assess the impact of Period Palooza events and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not required.
- Passion for menstrual health advocacy and gender equality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Fihri is searching for a compassionate and dedicated individual to serve as a Humanitarian Aid Coordinator Volunteer. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and facilitating the distribution of humanitarian aid to communities affected by period poverty around the globe.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the delivery of sustainable period kits and related resources to communities facing period poverty, ensuring equitable distribution and access.
2. Collaborate with local partners, organizations, and community leaders to assess needs and prioritize aid delivery to the most vulnerable populations.
3. Manage logistics for the transportation, storage, and distribution of humanitarian supplies, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support aid distribution activities, providing guidance and support as necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of aid shipments, distributions, and beneficiary data, adhering to organizational and donor reporting requirements.
6. Monitor and evaluate the impact of humanitarian aid interventions, gathering feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders to inform program improvements.
7. Work closely with other Fihri departments to integrate humanitarian aid efforts with broader advocacy and awareness-raising initiatives.
8. Stay informed about global developments and emerging needs related to period poverty, identifying opportunities for Fihri to expand its support and assistance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in humanitarian aid, community development, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate challenging environments and changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software for data management and reporting.
- Commitment to Fihri's mission of ending period poverty sustainably and promoting menstrual health equity.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to Fihri's operational regions is an asset.
